Shares of theater-systems operator IMAX Corp. surged Friday on rumors that Japanese electronics giant Sony Corp. was taking into consideration of a deal for this company.
It was rumored that Sony planned to acquire each of IMAX share for while the Walt Disney has aimed at IMAX.
